Kaya [Traditions] by the Tiyumba West African Drum & Dance Company benefits youth in northern Tamale. This year is an extraordinary opportunity to experience the cultural traditions of the Dagbamba people with guest artists from northern Ghana.

Join us for a family-friendly evening of drumming, dancing, singing, telling stories and playing games together. Enjoy the African market, silent auction, and African refreshments!

Join the Tiyumba Community for a one-of-a-kind community dance workshop. In this two hour workshop, you will learn traditional and contemporary West African movements with guest artists, live drumming, and singing!

PLEASE NOTE: If you have bought a ticket to the Kaya Benefit Show, please select the “complimentary entry” ticket option. You do not need to pay to register.

This workshop is family-friendly, open to all levels, and guaranteed to be loud (in a good way) and lively!

All proceeds benefit the Tiyumba Foundation & youth in Ghana.
