A Place to Call Home

A new educational center is needed to support the future of these youth!

We raised enough funds to raise the roof! Now we are ready to raise the funds needed for the building to be move in ready! Eventually the center will include a library with computers, performance hall, classrooms for tutoring and guest rooms for students, volunteers and teachers. It will provide a safe space for youth to improve upon their formal education, learn their cultural heritage and share their learnings with their families and community. Donate to make the center move in ready!

What is the “Tiyumba Youth Development & Cultural Center”?

Tiyumba (tee-yoom-bah) means “let’s love them” and is at the heart of Tiyumba Youth Development & Cultural Center (TYDCC). TYDCC provides hope and a safe space for young people in Ghana to pursue their dreams through education, cultural knowledge and practice. Through the spirit of traditional African culture, young people are welcomed with joy, love and community.
